It is a third floor (top floor) corner unit, affording privacy and quiet. The unit’s wraparound main deck floor and railing were recently refinished. The deck is wonderful space, affording an excellent view of the City Park gazebo and park activities below, and of the beach area and Gulf of Mexico out on the edge of the park. We get beautiful sunrises from the main front wraparound deck, and sunset light from the west-facing area of the wraparound deck, and also from the rear deck. The rear deck also affords the best view in the island village of the most-recently installed osprey-nesting pole and nesting deck. Cedar Key is among the most bird-populated osprey and other raptor nesting areas in the country. It is birders’  paradise. Cedar Key is also known as a fishing mecca. Kayaks can be rented to paddle out around the bay and to other islands in the area. Unit 332, being on the top floor, has an upstairs bedroom loft, not available on lower floors. The main floor living room has a pullout futon-couch for extra guest sleeping space when needed. Recently-installed new washer and dryer are available for use by guests, and are located conveniently adjacent to the stairs on the second floor of the building. The well-stocked kitchen w dishwasher, fridge, freezer and other appliances, is perfect for foodies. There is much closet and shelf space on main floor and in upstairs bedroom loft. The owners love dogs so this is a dog-friendly unit, even with L.L. Bean doggie bed for your canine friend’s comfort. Onsite staff bring fresh towels and sheets for guests, and provide cleaning of units. Any issues can be addressed with the onsite management office staff. (3rd floor not wheelchair assessable)
