NATIONAL WILDLIFE
FEDERATION
CERTIFIED WILDLIFE HABITAT
In 2006, Park Place was certified as a "Wildlife Habitat", number 88664, by the National Wildlife Federation. We provide food (bird feeders, plants that produce food for wildlife), water (bird baths) and shelter (over 23 cabbage palms and other vegetation) on this property. Not to mention providing food, water and shelter to that "wild" cat, Mr. Leo! To learn more about this program, click here.
As part of the process, everyone working here painted and decorated a birdhouse. As you can see, everyone has their own unique style!
We try to attract, feed and water butterflies, birds and, of course, the occasional gray squirrel.
The results are enough to make you smile!
